Alicia Michelle Johnson

Alicia M. Johnson of Riley Pope & Laney is an attorney in Columbia, SC. She represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Ms. Johnson earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology. Upon graduation, she worked for several years in the mortgage industry at a large corporation, gaining extensive knowledge in loss mitigation, foreclosure, and post-closing matters before attending the Charlotte School of Law. While attending law school she was a member of the Presidential Honors Society. Before joining the firm, she worked as a bankruptcy attorney where she gained valuable experience with bankruptcy policies, procedures, and creditors’ rights. Ms. Johnson is admitted to practice before all North Carolina state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina. Ms. Johnson is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Leary Bar Association, as well as the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. Ms. Johnson resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
