Lucas S. Fautua
Lucas S. Fautua is an associate attorney in the firm’s Columbia office. Lucas comes to Riley Pope & Laney after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Duncan in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. Lucas practices in the areas of default servicing, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, and litigation. Lucas represents clients throughout both North Carolina and South Carolina.
Growing up with both parents in the Army, Lucas often moved across the county, including to Aiken, SC, before finally landing in his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. Lucas graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science before attending the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and earning his Juris Doctor degree.
When not practicing law, Lucas enjoys golfing, playing sports with friends, attending USC sporting events, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
